Cryotherapy is a novel solution that treats recurrent nasal symptoms in patients seeking relief from uncomfortable nasal dripping, catarrh and a recurrent runny nose associated with rhinitis.

ClariFix is a minimally invasive, non-surgical, yet highly safe and effective cryotherapy procedure performed under local anaesthesia. With no post surgery downtime, ClariFix can tackle rhinitis symptoms effectively and permanently, through a procedure that lasts less the 1 hour.

Cryotherapy is considered for:

  • Adult patients with moderate to severe chronic runny nose and post nasal drip
  • Patients with permanent clearing of the throat
  • Rhinitis patients that aren’t candidate for other forms of treatment.
  • Unsatisfied patients with persistent nasal symptoms despite medical treatment
  • Patients that aren’t good candidates for general anaesthesia

By using freezing cold temperatures (-60C to -80C), ClariFix targets overactive nasal nerves. After numbing the inside of the nose with a local anaesthetic agent, cooled liquid nitrogen is applied in a targeted manner to tackle the overactive nerves. Thereafter, the patient often experiences little further discomfort and recovery is very swift.

Our clinics offer the ClariFix treatment as an “in-clinic” procedure, allowing patients faster access to treatment and a fast recovery pathway
